Please note: It seems that my webcam has an auto-tuning feature in which it decided to go flat halfway through. Hmm…

I received a couple of unexpected presents, things like a paper calendar and a couple of bars of chocolate. I also received a couple of Sonic presents too – a notebook and a Sonic money box head from my niece and nephew. They know me too well!!

The composer delves into the world of bell ringing, exploring the sounds and designs of many sizes and shapes of instruments including handbells, and the organ-like carillon. He also tries to unlock the musical potential of church bells. The composer tries his hand at bell ringing and creates an original piece specifically designed to be played on church bells.

Handbell ringers from the South East and East Anglia regions were involved in this production as Charles Hazelwood created his piece and it was performed in the Market Square in Cambridge.

I managed to pick up the van fairly early on Monday and we got cracking with the move.

When we moved from Norwich to Diss, we managed to move everything we needed in one van load but unfortunately this time round, it took 3 runs! I suppose this was due to furniture arriving after we moved to Diss which we now had to bring back.

However, we have moved, the keys have been returned and now it’s a waiting game as to whether we have been careful enough not to cause any damage. The money from the deposit could sure come in handy in the run up to Christmas.

One funny part of moving was the cancellation of services. It turns out that we owe TalkTalk around £90 for terminating the contract 6 months early, but on the other hand, we seem to have accumulated the same figure in the amount of water we’ve paid for but haven’t used so Anglian Water could bypass the middle-man (me) and just pay TalkTalk!!

The reason I’ve put “complete(-ish)” is because now that we have loaded up the house with the boxes from the flat, we need now to find homes for all of the junk. We can now see some of the carpet but not really enough to say that we’ve competely moved in

Today should have been moving day, the day we leave the flat here in Diss and migrate to Norwich but I left it to late to book the removal van and then there weren’t any available for today.

So, move day has been postponed to Monday.

There’s still a fair amount to pack – more to pack for the return than we had when we moved here.

I will probably have a few things to sell soon as we are moving into a place that already has them, things like a fridge-freezer, washing machine, sofas, the usual furniture stuff, so if you are interested in anything, feel free to reply below.

I might take some pictures of the move but it may depend on the amount of time we have available.

On my walk back to work following my lunch break, like I’ve done many times before, I came across this black car, leaving the petrol station. Problem was that he wasn’t looking out for pedestrians as one is supposed to when crossing a combined footpath and cyclepath.

As a result, he drives over my feet leaving me to hobble.

So, what do you get? An abraised shin from wheelspin and a crushed, bruised and swollen foot. Could have been worse. No broken bones luckily but a fair amount of pain.
